Attendance
Good attendance is important! One student’s excessive absence or tardiness can affect an entire class. As long as your child is healthy, it is best if they do not miss class. We know that there are many activities during the week. If your child is going to be absent, we ask that you give us 24 hour notice
Group Classes
Students will attend classes once a week; ballet, tap and jazz are conveniently scheduled into one class. Dancers will learn in an environment that boosts morale and self-esteem. Students will be placed at the appropriate levels based on a combination of age, previous training, and skill; they are continually evaluated by our staff to ensure proper placement.
Pre-Dance, Lil’ Dancers (ages 3-4) 45 min
Class that is structured around expanding your child’s imagination, developing motor skills, and teaching them the basics in ballet, tap and tumbling in a structured environment. Costume Fee - $50
Recital: one ballet routine (including tumbling skills) – one tap routine
Kinderdance, Beginner, Intermdiate, Freshman, Sophomore (grades K-5) 45 min
Classes for these age groups are centered around expanding the student's knowledge of ballet, jazz, and tap; while working on flexibility and technique. Costume Fee - $50
Recital: one ballet/jazz routine – one tap routine
Junior, Seniors and Advanced (grades 6-12) 1 hour
Junior, Senior and Advanced dance focuses on flexibility and technique in ballet, jazz and tap. These students will work in a fast paced environment working on advanced skills. Costume Fee - $50
Recital: one ballet routine – one jazz routine – one tap routine
Tumbling (ages 5+) Beginner 45 min - Advanced 1 hour
All ages of Tumbling focuses on flexibility, balance and basic tumbling skills. These students will work in an environment that is both fun and educational, while working on their skills. Costume Fee - $30
Recital: one tumbling routine
Pointe (offered for students grades 8-12) 30 min
Pointe is offered to students with strong ballet skills. Students in pointe will work on advanced ballet/pointe skills. Pointe shoes are required and must be fitted by a professional. Please contact Tiana before purchasing pointe shoes. Costume Fee - $50
Recital: one pointe routine
Hip Hop (ages 7-14) 45 min
Students will learn fun and modern hip hop moves in a fun setting. Costume Fee - $50

Student Lobby
A lobby has been provided for the students as a space to hang their coats and school bags, keep their street shoes. Please bring your student no earlier than 10 minutes before class and pick them up no later than 10 minutes after class. There is no supervision in the student lobby.
Observation
Parents’ and grandparents’ observation days are scheduled for the first week of class each month. There will be no observation day in April and May. This time is for the parents and grandparents to view the students in their classroom and observe the progress their child is making throughout the year. A closed classroom will be in effect for all remaining days of the year.
Health Issues
If your child has any health related concerns that the staff should be aware of, please call or send a note with your child. If your child has a temperature, missed a day of school for illness, head lice, or any other infectious disease, please be considerate of the other students and staff and keep them home. This will help reduce the spread of illness throughout the studio.
Dress Code
Students are allowed to wear clothing that is comfortable. Leotards and tights are not required for dance class. We do ask that you DO NOT wear loose/baggy clothing or jeans to class. Hair is to be pulled securely away from the face, especially for tumbling. No jewelry and no gum.

Cell Phones
Cell phones are NOT allowed during class. If a cell phone or iPod becomes a problem during class, the device will be taken away during each class time.Inclement
All new and returning students must complete registrations. Students may enroll at any time throughout the first 2 months of the season, September and October. Class placement is at the discretion of the teaching staff. A $50 costume fee is required at the time of registration for dancers, and $30 costume fee for tumblers.
Weather
The studio will close classes due to inclement weather when Bedford Schools dismiss early or cancel classes. Announcements will also be made on KMA 99.1 FM.
